Theological Seminary urges Christians to stand firm against challenges to our faith

Dr Reuben van Rensburg on the role of the Church

Dr Reuben van Rensburg, principal of the South African Theological Seminary (SATS), shares his concerns regarding the state of the Church in South Africa with FOR SA.

He explains the need for churches and pastors to preach a biblical perspective as a means to remedy society. The moment what we as Christians stand for comes under threat from the State, the Church is going to have to stand firm and resist.

If the State asks us to do what God has not commanded us, as Christians we will have to stand firm and stand together.
