Pastor Bert Pretorius, alongside his wife Charné, is the founding pastor of 3C Church – a dynamic, multi-racial, multi-site, vibrant, and rapidly growing church with over 30,000 members in the City of Tshwane, South Africa. The ministry has expanded to multiple cities, including in the USA.

Bert and Charné are also the founders of the Mahlasedi Foundation, leading a range of welfare and social development projects in the areas of disaster relief food distribution, education, crime prevention (including efforts to combat Gender-Based Violence), the empowerment and care of women and children, small business development (including agriculture), and youth development.

Pastor Bert is also the founder of SACOFF (South African Community of Faith-Based Fraternals and Federations), which currently has 216 registered members representing 15,459 churches. SACOFF serves as a platform for the religious community to address social needs across South Africa's geographic regions.

Bert and Charné are blessed with six children and four grandchildren.
