Dr André Roebert
Dr André Roebert has been in ministry since 1991. In 1992, he and his wife, Jenny, began serving as Youth Pastors. They later became District Pastors, assisting the Senior Pastors at Good News Church in King William's Town, Eastern Cape.
In 1996, God placed a deep desire in both André and Jenny for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. This passion led them to start Revival South Africa, an itinerant ministry that travelled throughout South Africa. From this ministry, The River Church and Ministry was birthed in 1998 in East London. Just two years later, they launched their first of many business ventures, purchasing a 55,000-square-meter building that became the headquarters of The River Group.
André and Jenny are the founders and presidents of The River Group, a diverse organisation comprising numerous companies and ministries. The group's reach includes three satellite channels, terrestrial broadcasts, building investments, a satellite radio channel, a humanitarian aid division, and The River Hotels Group. Through these ventures, they touch millions of lives with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
A key part of the group is Faith Broadcasting Network, which includes multiple channels (satellite, terrestrial, and digital) broadcasting messages of hope globally. Through FaithAfrica and FaithUK, the gospel reaches the entire continent of Africa, the UK, and North America via satellite. Additionally, digital terrestrial transmissions (via GoTV) extend coverage in parts of Africa, while FaithTV is broadcast in North America. The FaithNOW digital platform offers live streaming of channels, radio stations, and podcasts, as well as a variety of VOD options. Available for download on all major digital platforms, FaithNOW extends the group's reach worldwide.
In December 2021, André and Jenny launched Faith Church Naples, serving the local body of Christ in Southwest Florida. Their story is a testament to God’s grace and love for His children. Driven by their humble hearts and a desire to see the lost come to Christ, they continue to fulfil God's purpose and share the gospel worldwide, eagerly awaiting His return.
