Liesl Pretorius is an admitted attorney with a BA and LLB from the University of Stellenbosch.

Liesl joined the FOR SA team as a legal advisor and researcher in January 2023 and was appointed FOR SA Head of Legal in January 2024.

She has been involved in human rights and constitutional law for over half a decade. Liesl is committed to continuously deepening her understanding of the right to religious freedom and how to protect it.

She is a wife, mother, and person of faith.
